The procedure is less invasive than a coronal browlift, but the procedure can reverse the visible effects of aging just as dramatically, restoring an alert and youthful appearance with smaller incisions. Endoscopic Brow Lift Procedure
During endoscopic brow lift surgery, tiny incisions are made just above the hairline. Dr. Talbott uses an endoscope (a tiny camera with a light) to guide her through the entire process. She removes the muscular attachments of the brow in order to lift the skin to smooth out wrinkles and elevate the eyebrows. Next, the skin is fastened in its new place. Endoscopic brow lift surgery can be combined with a neck lift procedure, rhinoplasty, or another procedure to create a completely rejuvenated appearance.
Endoscopic Brow Lift Recovery
Many patients choose to undergo endoscopic brow lift surgery because it requires less recovery time and leaves very little scarring in comparison to a traditional coronal brow lift surgery. Some pain, swelling, and numbness may be experienced for a few days, but medication can be prescribed to treat any discomfort.
